4.5 Where we have incurred costs in the arrangement of training (for example: banking and administration charges, travel and accommodation expenses, or printing and postage fees), these costs will be deducted from any amount refunded to you.

4.10 Refunds will be processed no later than 14 days from the day on which you give us notice of cancellation.
5. Provision of Models and Equipment

5.1 Where training takes places at your own premises, you are responsible for providing all models, equipment and supplies on the day of the course. Failure to do so will be considered a cancellation by you and is subject to the conditions set out in section 4.

5.2 Models must be over 18 years of age and will be required to complete a health consultation and release form on the day of training.
5.3 Models are required at set times during training and are not permitted to attend the course or wait in the area where training takes place outside of these times.

5.4 Students must demonstrate competence in the practical application of all relevant techniques before certificates are awarded. If your models fail to attend and students are subsequently unable to fulfil the assessment requirements, this will be considered a cancellation by you and is subject to the conditions set out in section 4.
6. Assessment and Certification

6.1 Students will be assessed by: (i) completion of in-class exercises; (ii) tutor observation of practical skills; and (iii) completion of a written test paper.

6.2 Certificates are issued at our discretion upon successful completion of the above assessment activities.

6.3 Where a student’s completed test paper does not demonstrate sufficient competency, that student may re-take this part of their assessment free of charge.

6.4 Should a student fail the practical assessment, they will be invited to attend one further assessment at an Axiom Wax Academy venue, free of charge. Reassessments must take place within three months of the original training date.

6.5 No refunds will be issued where a student fails to complete the training course or related assessment activities to the satisfaction of the course tutor.

6.6 We reserve the right to withhold certificates until all course fees have been paid in full.
7. Equal Opportunities, Learning Needs, Health and Safety

7.1 We endeavour to provide equal opportunities in the provision of all services. This includes an expectation that tutors, students and models treat each other with respect and dignity during training.

7.4 Students and models are required to abide by all health and safety instructions given by tutors during training.

7.5 Training will be terminated if students or models are disruptive, aggressive or abusive, or do not follow health and safety instructions. This will be considered a cancellation by you and is subject to the conditions set out in section 4.

9. Webshop

Please read this webshop policy carefully before placing an online order. When making a purchase from our webshop you will be asked to confirm that you have read and agree to these conditions.

9.1 General
The Axiom webshop is only accessible to therapists who have trained with Axiom Wax Academy and subsequently signed up as a site member at www.axiomwaxacademy.com.
Images are for illustrative purposes only. Exact packaging may differ from that shown.

Product benefits and key ingredient descriptions are intended to be indicative. Axiom Wax Academy makes no claim nor accepts any liability relating to the efficacy of products listed on this site.

Axiom Wax Academy is not a VAT registered business and we do not charge tax separately. As such, all prices displayed are inclusive of VAT - the price you see is the price you pay.

We reserve the right to alter prices and descriptions without notice, explanation or penalty.

All items remain the property of Axiom Wax Academy until paid for in full, subject to the below terms.

9.2 Stock availability

Stock quantities are displayed on the item description page. These are correct to the best of our knowledge but if a product is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible and offer the choice of either a refund or a pre-order.

Where an item is out of stock, you may pre-order that product for delivery at a later date. An estimate of delivery timescales will be shown on the item page.

By placing a pre-order, you are agreeing to the estimated delivery timescale. You may cancel a pre-order and a full refund will be given, up until your order is packed and shipping arranged. After that point, our standard refund policy comes into play (see section 9.5).

9.3 Delivery
At this time, we are only able to ship to addresses in England, Scotland and Wales.

Shipping costs are based on weight and will be displayed at checkout.

Small orders are sent via Royal Mail, larger parcels are dispatched using DPD.
You will be notified by email once your order has shipped and a tracking number will be provided where available.
Orders are shipped twice a week. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery.

We also offer a free pick-up service from Axiom Wax Academy in Basingstoke. If you select this option, orders will normally be ready for collection within 1-2 days, but please wait for a confirmation email before picking up your goods.

We use recycled packaging wherever possible – this means you may receive an order in a box that has another company’s branding on it. This helps us save on costs and cuts down on waste.

9.4 Damaged goods

If the outer box is damaged when your parcel arrives, please refuse delivery. Where this isn’t possible, please take a photo of the damaged packaging and let us know as soon as possible.

Where goods themselves are damaged, please take a photo and let us know. We will replace damaged items promptly and free of charge, but require the original products to be returned to us. Get in touch and we’ll send you a returns label.

Where an item has been replaced, we reserve the right to charge you the full price of the replacement if the original product has not been returned to us within 14 days.

9.5 Refunds and returns

All sales made through Axiom Wax Academy, whether via this website, over the phone, by email or in person, are considered ‘business to business’ transactions under the scope of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This means all sales are final and purchases are exempt from the 14-day cooling off period as described in the aforementioned legislation.

If you do change your mind after placing an order, you may contact us and receive a full refund of all costs up until your order is packed and shipping arranged.

If you change your mind after your order has been packed and shipped, you may contact us to request a refund of the cost of goods up to 14 days from the time you receive your order. You must return the items to us in an un-used and as-new condition. You are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. The cost of our initial postage fees will be deducted from your refund, along with any other charges incurred by us (e.g. packing costs and payment processing fees). If items arrive from you damaged or unfit for resale, the full cost of the affected products will be deducted from your refund. You have 14 days from the point of contacting us to return the goods, and refunds will then be issued using the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned items.

Please see sections 9.2 and 9.4 for specific information relating to refunds of pre-orders and damaged goods.

Refunds will not be issued outside of the above circumstances. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act.
